Back in 2000, two MIT CDO graduates, Thomas Kören and Peter Gray started a joint research effort on deterministic statistical models with aid from artificial intelligence computer algorithms. On many different occasions, to provide a randomness factor within their Cardano probability space, they incorporated lottery draws in their mathematical models. After 2 years of intense work and observation, their research finally lead to a startling discovery: the non-existence of true randomness.

Bewildered by an almost obvious inherent pattern within their models, Kören and Gray quickly isolated the origin of the pattern: the lottery data. The first thing to cross their minds was that the data set was contaminated or manipulated in some way, so they obtained lottery data from very different lotteries around the world, but each and every time, a pattern could be unmistakably identified.

It would be a serious understatement to say Thomas and Peter were both absolutely startled. This of course, gave them an idea to apply their already advanced AI algorithms to isolate the patterns in lottery data. The patterns were inherently and unmistakably there, but their AI methods and algorithms lacked the necessary programming and power to completely unearth this remarkable discovery.

They directed their efforts to building an advanced AI neural network that would be capable of searching, producing and replicating the patterns, and above all, to successfully predict future draws. After another 2 years of intense work and research, in 2004 their efforts finally culminated in the successful development and implementation of the most advanced specialized neural network ever applied to lotteries: The NeuralAnalyzer i7000 lottery system.

This custom system was never made publicly available, but was instead used for Kören and Gray’s own research. It has served to prove that a seemingly random process such as a lottery does in fact have “memory”.

In 2006, with research funds running low, Thomas and Peter were offered key positions in a multi-national firm based in Mexico. They decided to move south and restart from there, setting up their research laboratory in Mexico City, and continue their work on a part-time basis due to their now full-time jobs.

It would be by 2008, with NeuralAnalyzer i7000 undergoing major upgrades and revisions during 4 years, that Thomas Kören and Peter Gray witnessed their dream come true: their advanced system pulled in a jackpot hit in Mexico’s Melate 6/56 lottery in the summer of 2009 with earnings over US$3.7 million. Their success continued, and by April 2012, their winnings totaled over US$4.9 million, with over 540 hits (Fourth, Third, Second and Jackpot hits combined).

With this new-found research budget, Thomas and Peter decided to prove once and for all that every lottery around the world, by its very nature, has within it an embedded, inherent pattern and that there is no such thing as pure randomness. Thus they dedicated all their efforts in perfecting their AI neural network model. It would be another 4 years before their work and research finally produced the desired results.
